Lisa Rave (born in 1979 in Guildford, UK; lives and works in Berlin, Germany) studied experimental film at the University of the Arts Berlin and photography at Bard College, New York. In 2014 she was a fellow at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart and was recently a fellow artist at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM). Her work investigates postcolonialism, human exploitations of natural resources, and history’s repeating patterns in the complex interplay of culture, economy and ecology.
